Those who oppress the poor insult their Maker, but
helping the poor honors him.
~ Proverbs 14:31 ~

Helping others in less privileged situations is a reflection of God’s love and a fulfilment of His commandments.

The Bible calls us to love our neighbours as ourselves (Mark 12:31) and to care for the needy and vulnerable among us. Proverbs 19:17 reminds us that “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.” Jesus Himself set the ultimate example by serving others and teaching us that “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40). By helping others, we embody Christ’s love, build a stronger community, and live out our faith through action.
